Overview
Florun allows you to edit and run workflows¶
In Florun, a workflow is a set of nodes which receive some input, process it and send some output. By linking all those nodes you can build a whole program without writing code !
- Watch the demo!
- Download!
- Source code on Github !
For what ?¶
- You can read, process and write files
- You draw diagrams and don't write a line of code !
- Florun is extensible ! There will be all kinds of nodes (image, video, Web resources,...) !
- Florun workflows are stored in XML and be executed without display (server, scheduled, etc.)
History¶
- In April 2010, I am proud to release the first working version of Florun !
- In 2009, I started Florun, in order to re-use some of UHM ideas but giving life to the editor in the first step.
- In 2008, I wrote the UHM. A workflow application inspired by Yahoo Pipes to process Web resources. UHM had no editor and did not convince many people, despite its great potential.
Florun is released under Free Software license
